He has literally dozens of BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards nominations, with a blaze of wins, including 2 as Musician Of The Year and a gig list that stretches from the folk clubs of England via the Deep South USA, 'Later...with Jools Holland' to The Proms at The Royal Albert Hall.
