SKA / 2-TONE ALL DAYER ( THE UPLIFTERS LIVE )

Event information

The Miners Community Arts and Music Centre present a full on Multi Media Ska / 2 - Tone Music Event, The Likes of which has not taken place in Manchester Before, With Film, DJ's, and a live Band.

Starting The Day From 3pm we will be Screening in our 90 Seat Cinema (with Bar) some Classic Ska & 2 - Tone Films, together with Vintage performances on The Big Screen from all your Favourite Bands.

Times are for the Cinema:

3pm - 4pm Compilation of Ska / 2 - Tone Acts
4pm - 5.30pm Madness in Take It or Leave It
6pm - 7.30pm Dance Craze
7.30pm - 8.30pm Compilation of Ska / 2 - Tone

All on The Big Screen in Full 5.1 stereo sound ..If you want a Break from The Cinema then you can enjoy all your Favourite Skanking Sounds in The Function Room next door from 3pm all through the day.

At 9pm till 11pm we will End The Day with a roof raising double set From Manchester's very own The Uplifters, Hot On the success of the release of there new Album and support slot with Bad Manners. This Band will Guarantee to get you up SKANKING to their beat, with their mix of Original Ska Songs and crowd pleasing covers, I'm sure you will agree with us that this will be a Fantastic end to this event.
