Anthony Strong has performed with the likes of Marti Pellow, Beverley Knight, Paloma Faith and Buddy Greco and played Jerry Lee Lewis in the hit West End show Million Dollar Quartet.
After receiving music scholarships to Whitgift School and The Purcell School of Music, Anthony funded a degree at the Guildhall School of Music by gigging in London and quickly built up a reputation as an in-demand session musician. In 2011, Anthony was invited to join pop singer Paloma Faith, English entertainer Tony Christie and jazz legend Buddy Greco for the BBC’s star-studded New Year’s Eve broadcast Live from The Savoy Ballroom in London and made his European debuts in 2012 with festival performances in France, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Germany and Switzerland as well as 6 sold out shows at the legendary Duc Des Lombards club in Paris.
Along with his band of talented London musicians, he performs his own take on some well-loved jazz songs as well as a few foot-tapping feel-good ‘standards’ of his own.
The Elgar Room has cabaret-style unreserved seating.
