RICHARD EARLS - blues harmonica man

Event information

With the force of a freight train, driving guitar and wailing harmonica, Richard Earls and Andy Daglish rock, roll and tumble through a full program of blues, beat poetry and rhythm and blues.

In the late 70s and early 80s, singer and harp player Richard was a regular feature at the 100 Club, the Marquee, the WAG Club, Ronnie Scott's, Dingwalls, Hope and Anchor and other great London venues too numerous to mention!

He recorded on Paul Murphy's Paladin Label; CBS Get Wise, in Seconds of Pleasure and Dangerzone, and made frequent appearances on Capital and the BBC; notably for Gary Crowley and Charlie Gillet.

Andy, who has never stopped playing in bands since the age of 16, playing with Tom O'connor and touring with Billy Bragg. In the 80s, he joined Richard in cult R and B band, Dangerzone, after having spent 3 years in CAST theatre group.

Richard, more at home in the juke-joints and dives of Bordeaux - Andy, playing guitar in the pubs of Leicestershire - they meet half-way in Plymouth for a rare UK reunion.
