Hailing from Oxford, MMX is comprised of Ashley Wilkie, Warren Senior, Benjamin Hordos & Thomas Millar. Inspired by atmospheric sounds and layering, MMX combine soundscapes with powerful melodies and emotional energy.
Having spent most of 2011 and 2012 writing music in various segregated locations in Oxfordshire, the band release their debut EP Child on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify. MMX spent two weeks in rural Devon crafting and recording Child (self-producing it alongside producer & engineer Peter Miles). Combining analogue & digital synthesizer sounds with powerful atmospheric guitar lines and strong rhythms the band attempt to create memorable music of emotion.
