Day two of the Neath Comedy Festival 2013 see's two of the plannet's funniest people preview their Edinburgh Festival shows.
NAT LUURTSEMA is one third of the sketch trio 'Jigsaw' who were regular stars of BBC3's Live at the Electric as well as their own brilliant series on Radio 4. Nat's also written for Mock The Week and 8 Out Of 10 Cats as well as being an award-winning film maker and author.
Her show 'Nat Luurtsema: Here She Be' is a lose-your-shoes funny new hour of stand-up about loving your ex but not in that way and some far less mature things.
"Utterly unique, ludicrously funny" - GQ
"Disgustingly talented" - The Guardian
"Wincingly funny" The Observer
US Comic WILL FRANKEN wowed audiences and critics alike with his highly acclaimed debut Edinburgh show last year, which was rated amongst the British Comedy Guide's top shows.
After a barnstorming performance at Neath's very own Clown's Pocket Comedy Club this year we are delighted to have him back to perform his new show 'Concert to Benefit the Victims of my Father'.
The star of Comedy Central's 'The World Stand's Up', Franken’s humour is rooted in the British sketch comedy tradition, notably Monty Python. Onstage, he portrays an eclectic mix of characters through a series of interconnected vignettes. His skits are often satirical, skewering a range of subcultures and political views, often absurdist.
"Quite simply, he does the smartest comedy I've ever seen. I laughed so hard when I discovered his act that my ribs couldn't contain it all. "
-The Oakland Tribune
“Simply hilarious.” - The Times UK
"Best Alternative to Psychedelic Drugs " - SF Bay Guardian
