An evening of fantastic Jazz and great song-writing from RODINA aka Aoife Hearty & Joe Tatton.
Originally from Ireland and with a distinctive voice Aoife cites many singing influences including Astrud Gilberto, Chris Connor and Yasmin Levy and has performed extensively internationally from Istanbul to San Fransisco and recently performed for the Queen at the new 02 arena in Leeds with support from the excellent Jazz/blues trio “Joe’s Allison”.
Joe Tatton is a successful jazz musician fresh back from New Orleans Jazz Festival who regularly tours the USA and Japan with bands such as “The New Mastersounds” and “The Haggis Horns” and played on Corinne Bailey Rae’s hit debut record.
