Mark Beazley, David Hurn, Alex Monk, live at The Islington.

Mark Beazley

Mark Beazley is the founding member of alternative rock group, Rothko,
who released 12 albums on labels such as Lo Recordings, Bip Hop, Trace
Recordings and Bella Union. Since Rothko's last release in 2010, Mark
has worked with Graham Dowdall, aka Gagarin, under the name Low Bias,
plays in the drone trio Signals, with Chris Gowers and Philip Julian
and also in Rome Pays off, with fellow original Rothko member Crawford
Blair, along with Chris Gowers. Marks' 2009 solo album, Stateless, has
just been re-issued on clear vinyl by Regroove Records.

Alex Monk

Alex Monk is a musician and producer based in London. Monk uses thestructure of song to convey a range of emotions and moods,combined
with a spirit that allows sounds and melodies to evolve through the
essence of the moment. Live performances lend themselves to a range of sound sources and instruments though the voice often lies at the centre; sometimes employed only as an instrument itself. He has
released three albums and last record 'The Safety Machine' received
wide acclaim upon its release in 2011 and the next release is due in
September on Smeraldina Rima.

David Hurn

Debut single 'Sick Of Hate' was released in 1999 on Day Release
records, swiftly followed by live performances across London and
Berlin. Signed to Fire Records in 2001 and opened shows for, amongst
others, Mark Eitzel, British Sea Power and Tim Bowness.
Debut album 'He Was A Woman' was released in 2002, followed by the
critically acclaimed 'No Love' E.P.

In 2004 David performed at SXSW festival in Texas, recorded a number
of sessions for BBC Radio, and composed music for a series of short
experimental films.

A ltd edition CD single 'I'm Spending Christmas With Jesus This Year'
was released at the close of 2005 and was described by the Western
Mail as 'Probably the most tragic christmas song ever produced.'

David's second full length vocal album, 'The Beautiful Trustful
Future' was released in March 2008 on Fire Records, and features the
7" single 'The Man Who Stayed In Bed Forever'.

A special ltd edition CD album titled 'Black Flowers' (four track
instrumental recordings '97-98) was released in February 2010 on Trace
Recordings.
Also a founder member of Four Seasons Television who have just
completed their debut album 'Skip All'
David is currently collaborating with Ingrid Chavez as well as
recording his fourth albums of songs.
