Amersham Concert Club is delighted to welcome back the Coull String Quartet ( Roger Coull and Philip Gallaway - violins, Rose Redgrave - viola and Nicholas Roberts - cello) for a sixth visit! The Quartet celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2014 and has a huge international reputation having played and broadcast extensively in the UK, Europe and the US as well as further afield.
Their programme includes two great Russian quartets:
Haydn: Quartet in C Op.20 No.2
Shostakovitch: Quartet No.12 in D flat
Tchaikovsky: Quartet No.3 in E flat minor Op.30
