Old Rock City Orchestra- jazz rock proggers outta Italy...female singer, metal guitar, jazz drums, blimey... Pentangle meets Jethro Tull meets Colliseum meets Lizard era King Crimson meets Kate Bush.. I may just drop a window pane.
The Kontours- Spirited if arch hard edged indie rock with a raspy edge of damaged Lennon meets Noddy vocal- though more angsty and post punk sounding. Squally guitar based bass heavy alt indie with one foot in the Brit Rock camp, another in the Stooges area. Some nice touches with the call and response vox/melodies and it certainly has balls.
