Led by foremost UK saxophonist, composer, arranger and educator, the quartet play their take on music associated with Frank Sinatra, with whom Dave played 6 nights at the Royal Albert Hall in May 1992, under the direction of Frank Sinatra Jr, as part of the John Dankworth Orchestra. This was Sinatra's last London appearance. There will also be selections from Dave's new collaboration 'Got The Real Note' (Jazzizit) with bassist Geoff Gascoyne, featuring "contrafacts" (new tunes written to changes of favourite standards).
