Dress up Dress down Dress 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s…
for the Xmas Dance Party of 2013
Electric landladies are a wonderful live six piece band.
With a new album out, they play music to sing and dance to from five decades. In the wonderfully, atmospheric Chats Palace, it might be chilly outside but there will be a hot gig going on inside.
It's also Friday THE THIRTEENTH! Dah de da da… Whatever horrors are waiting for you under the Christmas tree…you can still enjoy a fabulous evening with one of London's best live groups!
Sarah P vocals, Laka D vocals/keyboards,
Deirdre Cartwright guitar, Diane McLoughlin sax/keyboards,
Alison Rayner bass, Ann Day drums
Some people have wondered why we are called the Electric Landladies? We've had irate message on You Tube from disgruntled and (dare we say) humourless men complaining that we don't even play any Hendrix. We've had Dutch fan sites saying that our name comes from the fact that we are indeed all Jimi Hendrix devotees. The simple answer is we thought the name was fun and we play a fantastic range of music from rock 'n' roll, soul, rock, disco to electro pop; and we have been known to play Purple Haze and Foxy Lady on request!
Tickets will be on sale at the door for £15 tonight
