Having torn through Europe from Amsterdam to Vienna with ecstatic DJ nights and delirious live sets for the past decade, Shantel’s legendary Bucovina Club experience is coming to London in its full glory featuring The Bucovina Club Orkestar Live.

The undisputed king of the Gypsy/Balkan party scene, compiler of the Borat movie soundtrack, contributor to Electric Gypsyland and Gypsy Beats and Balkan Banger albums (Atlantic Jaxx), Shantel’s concerts and parties attract thousands up for a good time and eager for a totally new sound. Shantel has successfully blended his experiences as a DJ with a real respect for the musical riches of gypsy and Eastern European folk roots, and his shows are enjoyed equally by world music enthusiasts and Ibiza party-goers.

Bucovina Club shows are a no-holds-barred display of non-stop musical energy, and to hear the tracks from his new Disko Partizani album played by the full live band will be a shamelessly joyous affair.

Tonight’s event features an opening DJ set from Russ Jones of Gypsy Beats and Balkan Bangers compilation fame, before Shantel & the Bucovina Orkestar, and a closing DJ set from Shantel.
