We're Crash Island. We're a four-piece dark tropical indie rock band from Stoke Newington, London. Our members hail from Spain, France, and South Africa. We've played shows in France, Germany, Switzerland and all around the UK - from festivals, clubs and rooftops, to lake, parks, and midnight bus stops.

We started with two demo EPs in 2012. In 2013, we released our debut sudio Ep Strange Shores, which was mixed by Gordon Raphael (the Strokes) and is available on iTunes and Spotify. It is also being distributed in the US by Giant MKT. New Ep out early 2014.

Shanty is a seven piece reggae collective from northwest London; describing their sound as ‘stomping bass, soulful hook and party vibes’. New to the scene, and making a significant impact after the release of their debut video ‘Waiting, Shanty’s third ever show was at this year’s Secret Garden Party; the following week, they opened up the main stage at Leopallooza festival, where they shared the stage with the likes of Bastille and The Skints.

Keeping the momentum of their debut going, Shanty have spent the rest of the summer appearing at a number of UK festivals and filling well know venues across the UK. Most recently the boys were play-listed on Gary Crowley's show as part of BBC Introducing. In November, Shanty will embark on their first UK tour in anticipation of the release of their debut EP, which will be released early 2014
