The Big Smoke is a live music night held every Thursday at The Castle in the heart of London's creative East End. The Big Smoke showcases London's up-and-coming singer/songwriting talent at an intimate venue in the Brick Lane area. On the last Friday of the month we takeover The Rhythm Factory around the corner for a bigger and more powerful live show featuring local bands and soloists.

The Vamp are a Balkan/Gypsy band that The Vamp are all things Eastern – melodies from the wild steppes of Europe, rhythms from the deserts of Arabia and harmonies inspired by the trade winds... A collective of multi-instrumentalists, song writers and vocalists, the Vamp feature Simone on two North African drums called darbukas, Raf on bass, Adrian on the accordion, Tim on trombone, and Pav and Badge on all things string-related, including the violin and the tzouras - http://www.thevampband.com/
