Hey! Manchester presents HEALTH and YACHT!

HEALTH
Part of a Los Angeles movement that spawned No Age, Mika Miko and the Mae Shi, HEALTH make two-minute masterpieces ripe for the dancefloor – so much so that they need two MySpaces: noise and disco. They've also done a split 7" with Crystal Castles. All this points to HEALTH's Manchester debut being primed for success:

YACHT
Formerly one half of K Records' the Blow, Jona Bechtolt is a multimedia artist whose solo project, YACHT, provides an outlet for his fun electro-pop, site-specific visuals and trademark spine-breaking dancing. Between YACHT tours, Jona works with acts such as Devendra Banhart, Little Wings, Thanksgiving and the Microphones, and remixes for the likes of Architecture in Helsinki:

Charlie's is located on Harter Street, just off Princess Street. When not hosting club nights and gigs, it's usually a Chinese karaoke bar.
