ANDREW WATTS
Winner – Reading Comedy Festival New Act of The Year
Runner-Up to TV’s Jack Whitehall – Amused Moose Laugh-Off
Finalist – So You Think You’re Funny, Laughing Horse New Act of the Year + English Comedian of the Year Competition
“His distinctive style stands out – a winning mixture of pomposity, insecurity and emotional incompetence, while the fury-inducing importance he places on the trivial makes for a winning comic stance. " - Chortle.co.uk
“One of my favourite up-and-coming comedians, who looks and acts like he’s in middle management and whose distaste for everything laddish and fondness for cricket analogies cloaks some darker writing… There’s intelligent wit, honesty and more interesting and provocative thoughts in his show than many comics manage in a decade." - The Scotsman
“Lovers of stand-up laced with a cerebral cutting-edge should, without further prevarication, flock to his show." - ThreeWeeks ****
Andrew Watts has a distinctive style and very original material, both of which mark him out as one to watch for the future. His posh boy humour is intelligent without distancing himself from the audience. Lawyer turned comedian, Andrew is extremely likable and invariably wins a crowd over as he canters through challenging subjects like an apologetic tsunami. He is also famous for once buying lavender from a drug dealer in Brixton.
Previously a solicitor in London, he is now a full-time comedian and has written and performed two full-length Edinburgh shows, I wish I could be like Andrew Watts and Born to Be Mild, both of which received four-star reviews.
As seen on FHM’s Stand-Up Hero (ITV4) and The World Stands Up (Comedy Central).

UP & COMING ACTS
Russ > Madge Hooks > Joshua Ross > Ben Clover > Jason Simmons
plus MC MARK CRAM
Winner of the 2013 Bedford Comedian of the Year Award Mark’s reputation is steadily growing on the UK comedy scene. Having performed at multiple Edinburgh festivals, worked for some of the most respected promoters in the UK and driven himself to the edge of despair; he is certainly an act to watch. Exploring topics such as work, home life, sexuality and the fact that his brother is apparently ‘better’ than he will ever be; Mark paints a picture of a young man whose life hasn’t quite worked out the way he wanted it to.
"Mark Cram’s act was a masterclass in comedy design; his story of sibling rivalry with his high-achieving military brother had an unexpected revelation dropped in halfway through, and wrapped up its threads beautifully by the end. Almost certainly pared down for the competition from a longer act, he left me wanting to know more about him and his family." - Newbury Weekly News
"Mark’s blokey style went down well as he told anecdotes about his family. His observations about his sexuality got a good response too, as he referred to himself as “heterosexually challenged” rather than “gay”." - West Sussex County Times
"A deliciously naughty night’s entertainment which included an extremely popular performance from MK’s own Mark Cram, with an equally colourful background." - Milton Keynes Citizen
