Young Mumbai housewife, Ila, tries to spice up her marriage by preparing a special lunchbox to be delivered to her husband at work. By mistake, it is delivered to another office worker, Saajan, a lonely, old man. The absence of a reaction from her husband leads her to put a note in the next day’s lunchbox. Thus begins an exchange of notes which evolves into an unexpected friendship. A witty and perceptive film that reveals the hopes, sorrows and regrets of ordinary people.
