Three food writers and cooks discuss food and culture and the connection food has with family, heritage, storytelling, health and good living. Ken Hom is one of the world's greatest Chinese chefs and a leading world authority on Chinese food. He was recommended to the BBC by Madhur Jaffrey and went on to appear in Ken Hom's Chinese Cookery and a number of other series. He has written more than 30 cookery books. The latest, Exploring China, A Culinary Adventure, accompanied a successful BBC2 series. Cyrus Todiwala is one half of BBC2's Incredible Spice Men and was named BBC Food Personality of the Year at the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards 2014. He is the owner of three London restaurants. In his latest book Mr Todiwala's Bombay he visits the city of his childhood Mumbai or Bombay as it will always be known to him. The book is a tour of many street food stalls and recipes from home kitchens.Belinda Harley has written acclaimed books on Harry's Bar London and Annabe!
