A unforgettable evening of music from some of the finest acoustic artists around. The event is a fundraiser for the OXJAM festival to raise funds for OXFAM. 90% of the ticket price will be donated to the charity. 10% will help with the logisitcs of putting on this event. All artists are generously donating their time and talents without a fee.
The great Nic Jones will be joining us for a special guest appearance and to collaborate with the other artists.
The line up includes Ange Hardy, fresh from the launch of her acclaimed CD "The Lament of the Black Sheep"; Greg Russell, the singing/guitar half of Russell and Agar, winners of 2 BBC folk awards; Lukas Drinkwater, virtuoso multi-instrumentalist and one of the 3 Daft Monkeys; Jemima Farey, a fantastic upcoming singer/songwriter from Somerset; The Appaloosas, an wonderful band from Tavistock who play Old Time Appalachian songs; Greg Hancock, singer songwriter from Devon accompanied by his new string trio; Emily Howard, silver-voiced singer/songwriter from Devon and Devonbird, a trio specialising in traditional and new folk music embued with a love of the region.
