We're elated to welcome back SLOW DOWN MOLASSES to Oxford for the third time. The last two shows they've played here have been fantastic and they return to promote Summer Sun, the first single from their forthcoming album Burnt Black Cars, which is due out in 2015. It's a spritely piece of shoegaze pop with hints of JAMC alongside the open road feel of Broken Social Scene and The War on Drugs.

Support comes from Oxford's own WE AERONAUTS, playing their first hometown show since a triumphant set at Truck Festival in the summer. Flirting the line between post-rock and indie-pop, they're mixing an album which should be out soon! http://weaeronauts.bandcamp.com

Opening are the fantastic ROBOT SWANS. Fresh from a set at Tigfest, the replacement for the cancelled OxfordOxford festival, their demo is a sweet collection of modern-day tales of wifi and twitter accounts set to omnichord and sparkling guitars. http://www.robotswans.com/
