SAM SALLON

Last year saw the release of Sam Sallon's debut album "One for The Road". As well as being heralded by music mags like Mojo, Maverick and R2, the album's singles also gained considerable internet attention and both found their way onto national radio; a rare feat for an independent artist.
This year has seen Sallon pick up three awards at the Exposure Music Awards in London including Best Act Overall. In June he won an international Independent Music Award in the best Folk/Singer-songwriter category for his song "You Are Home". He has performed solo at the Royal Albert Hall opening for Pete Doherty, the Royal Festival Hall opening for Lyle Lovett and the Queen Elizabeth Hall opening for the Neil Cowley Trio. Other notable support slots have been with Lucy Rose, Johnny Flynn, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Nick Harper and Nouvelle Vague. Come and hear him now in a rare intimate gig as he returns to the Green Note for his only London date this year.

THREE PILGRIMS

Three Pilgrims formed when the paths of three very individual musicians, already accomplished in their own right, and having achieved disillusionment, fortuitously converged in the fall of 2013.
Their unique blend of exciting guitar styles and harmony singing has led them to busking at the South Bank.
Pilgrim Mark says:
"Yes, I'm very happy about the way things are going - I've always loved the river"
Pilgrim Paul: "This is new and exciting... I've never had to check the weather forecast to know if I can play before."

Indeed, nothing now stands between Three Pilgrims and their dream, except perhaps the rain. However, it's here we may catch a glimpse of just how innovative this band really is. Displaying an uncommon pioneering streak, a cunning strategy is being hatched about how they might acquire a gazebo. An unconfirmed report suggesting that a popular car accessories shop sells them is still under investigation. Still, for those of us who have been searching and waiting for the musical heroes of our day, perhaps the long wait is over…
Stay tuned.

Pilgrim David: "I can't believe you haven't quoted me"

Three Pilgrims are Paul Wassif, Mark Abis and David Watson
