One of Britain’s best jazz improvisers, trumpeter Harry Beckett’s musical interests range from post-bop to free improvisation. He has been a key member of important groups in the British free jazz/improvised music scene and his reputation extends throughout Europe and the USA. The number of musicians he has been associated with would be too numerous to list but he is familiar to Vortex audiences for his appearances with Annie Whitehead.
