"D.I. Records Presents" promote some of the most original bands currently playing in the Leeds Music scene and from around the UK.
D.I. Records band 'Cut Out Shapes' continue their UK tour with a stop off in Leeds at Wharf Chambers in the city centre with fellow rockers 'Secateurs' from Wales who are also on a UK tour to support their debut EP release.
Cut Out Shapes have received excellent reviews from Gigslutz, the Yorkshire Evening Post and the Leeds Music Scene website for their debut album released in 2014.
The band also received excellent reviews for their debut EP 'Sea of Tranquility' in 2010 which enabled them to support Chase & Status and Love Amongst Ruin the following year.
Since summer 2012 the band took a break to complete their debut album which was released in April 2014.
ALBUM REVIEWS
"The four-piece have created a diverse album of sounds, styles and genres: leaving the gap for Cut Out Shapes' follow-up album to potentially spread into every territory possible"
- Gigslutz Website, Jan 2015

"All in all this is definitely a project that will keep you going back. It's refreshing to hear a well put together album, one that functions as an album and not just an assortment of singles. There's plenty of tracks that are bound to be a hit live, and there's enough depth here to warrant attention." 4/5 Stars

'Secateurs' also come highly recommended:
"They sound like The Stooges in a DeLorean."
Adam Walton, BBC Radio Wales
"Distinctive, edgy and simply unforgettable music. It's creepy, it's murky; but most of all its prolifically electrifying."
Ella Scott, gigslutz.co.uk
"It's visceral & as opportunistically brutal and in-ur-face as a lion launching itself thru an open car window at Longleat."
David Owens, asoundreaction.walesonline.co.uk
