Mayah Kadish and Sara Cubarsi

Presented by: Nocturne Notes Limited
0LONDON: Brunel Museum
PThursday 28th May, 2015
N7:30pm

Event information

Violinists Mayah Kadish and Sara Cubarsi are thrilled to play a programme of mainly new music interspersed with some surprise works by Schubert and Bartok arranged by the duo for two violins. Three of the new works have been written for the violinists and two of these will be receiving their UK premieres at this concert.

The two musicians met when studying together at the Royal Academy of music and formed the duo earlier this year, brought together by their shared interest in new music, and the luxury of being able to work in a partnership without fear of experimentation, on music both new and old. They also perform together as part of new music ensemble x.y

The concert will feature tunes by Schubert and Bartok, and works by Marc Sabat, Alex Hills, and Alessandro De Rosa, as well as a piece by Sara Cubarsi which explores her interest in microtonal music.

The Thames Tunnel Shaft is below ground: the air is cool so please dress warmly.

We regret no wheelchair access is available.
