Are you looking for ways to empower others to discover their true creative abilities? All too often we hear the words ‘I’m not musical’. At Soundcastle, we believe that everyone is musical and sometimes people just need a little encouragement to find their voice! This introductory CPD session will explore practical activities and ways of communicating that will build confidence within diverse groups of people and enable them to discover their own unique creative identities. The primary focus of this CPD is to examine different paths to discovery through the following ideas:
- How to discover and stimulate creative confidence
- How to discover and nurture creative abilities with sounds, stories and play
- How to discover brand new music through group collaboration
- How can we as facilitators engage in reflective practice to enable us to discover new things from our participants?
- What can we discover about ourselves when facilitating others?
For educators, musicians and animateurs, this CPD will broaden your skills of creative facilitation within your own artistic settings and work on personal tools to continue developing your own, unique leadership approach. Using practical activities, tried and tested in our own Soundcastle projects, this CPD session will enable you to immediately put your skills of facilitation into action on the day itself and receive constructive feedback from the Soundcastle team. The session will include time for group reflection, questions and analysis of the day’s events in a friendly and supportive environment.
It gives us great pleasure to share the Soundcastle approach and we hope to welcome you on the 26th May.
