Marcia, DJs Andre & Dave

As part of the celebrations to mark 30 years since the first LGBT march in Cardiff we are excited beyond belief to announce that for one night only Cardiff’s legendary gay venue the TUNNEL CLUB is coming back to life. We have tried to make this a 1985 authentic experience as possible and to that end we have:
* Got agreement from Metros Nightclub to hold the evening in the original Tunnel site on Baker’s Row in Cardiff.
* Tracked down 2 of the original Tunnel DJs Andre and Dave who have agreed to play.
* And of course a night like this wouldn’t be truly authentic without the Tunnel Girl herself Marcia who will acting as our host for the evening.
* Plus live entertainment to be announced closer to the event.
All profits from the evening will be donated to Pride Cymru and will be ring fenced to fund local charities and LGBT groups to cover the costs of stalls at next year’s Pride event. Many groups struggle with funds so we thought this would be a positive way to enable them to have a presence at next year’s event.
Tickets are £5 in advance (more on the door) they are also available to buy in person at Spillers Records, Morgan Arcade, Cardiff.
Doors will be from 9.00pm until late.
