True North + Made in Holmfirth - an evening of music & pictures

Join us at Wilshaw Village Hall for an evening of live music and photography. There'll be a performance by local Americana/folk favourites True North, featuring a mix of original and traditional songs and a few well chosen folk covers. Their soulful sound includes toe-tapping numbers as well as songs that touch the heart, and Maria's original songwriting often references the beauty of the Yorkshire landscape. True North's set will be complemented by a presentation of stunning original images by local photographer and guide Andy Leader (Made in Holmfirth). Before the musical part of the evening, Andy will present "Catch the Light", recreating a walk along the footpaths of Holmfirth and Marsden. He brings the landscape alive through his lens and captures the ever changing light and character of the landscape in this beautiful presentation.
