Jake Arnott is time travelling again; his next book will conjure the world of 18th century London from his kaleidoscopic imagination and research into a favourite text, the 1719 poem: ‘Trivia: The Art of Walking the Streets of London’ by John Gay. Arnott lovingly reveals the topographical features of cities in his novels, and tonight he talks about this aspect of his work in the back catalogue, and how his current book is progressing. A great opportunity to meet the coolest historical novelist in town.
