Banbury Symphony Orchestra Christmas Charity Concert

Banbury British Heart Foundation is ending its 30th anniversary year with a Christmas Concert at St Mary’s Church on 12th December.
The fundraisers have teamed up with Banbury Symphony Orchestra for a special family Christmas Concert.
Chairman of the fundraising branch, Julie Hieatt said “It’s very much going to be a cheerful and upbeat event – something for all of the family, and we’re hoping that as many Banbury residents as possible get into the Christmas Spirit and dress up in their Christmas jumpers, santa hats and even tinsel hair accessories. We’re looking forward to welcoming friends, family and individuals – everyone will get a warm welcome”.
The concert starts at 4.30pm at St Mary’s Church and tickets are just £10 each (Under 18’s are free but still need a ticket). The programme this year includes extracts from The Nutcracker and Hansel & Gretel Prelude as well as popular Christmas carols and Christmas songs.
The Christmas concert is always very popular amongst local residents, and this year, with such a fun theme, and lots of audience participation opportunities, it is hoped that the concert will completely sell out, and raise much needed funds for on going research into heart and circulatory disease.

Prizes will be awarded on the evening for the best dressed – so residents are encouraged to really get into the Christmas Spirit.
