An evening of comedy in aid of Leicester City of Sanctuary, featuring top comedian SHAZIA MIRZA and, with his acclaimed one-man show Old Jewish Jokes, IVOR DEMBINA.
City of Sanctuary is a national movement with nearly 40 groups which are committed to developing a ‘culture of welcome and inclusion’ for people seeking sanctuary in the UK.
The aim is to create a network of places throughout the country which do their best to include asylum seekers and refugees in the lives of their communities.
