We Use To Make Things are a London-based 8 piece indie-pop band. They come to you with big horns, big rich harmonies and a healthy respect for a melodic hook and fat groove. Laced with warm, witty lyrics about dissatisfaction, personal politics and the kind of characters Mike Leigh and Pinter would be proud of. Their journey is funny and poignant but also very good to dance to.

The band have created an electrifying and entertaining live show that has enthralled an impressive range of audiences. They have played festivals including Larmer Tree, Secret Garden Party, Standon Calling and more locally at venues from the Union Chapel, O2 Islington, The Lexington to Ronnie Scotts.

With a new highly anticipated debut album promised for 2016, this is a concert to be missed.

Samantha Whates is a Montrose born but London based singer-songwriter and one of our favourites. Despite living in the capital since her mid-teens, her heart, voice and songs retain a strong affinity with her Scottish roots, cultivating a sound that is thoroughly contemporary, rooted in tradition yet uniquely her own. A regular live performer, Samantha has played throughout the UK from small town pubs to large festivals. Her 2011 debut album ‘Dark Nights Make For Brighter Days’ was released to critical acclaim and radio play (BBC 6 Music, KCRW, Resonance FM). In 2014 she broke in to the mainstream when her cover of Leo Sayers ‘I Can’t Stop Loving You’ which was used by the Barclays Premier League in their advertising campaign and getting airplay across the board. Confessional, conversational and understated, Samantha Whates deceptively forceful voice will find a place deep inside your soul and stay around for years to come.

Samantha has also worked and frequently collaborated with Ross Wilson (Blue Rose Code), Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, M G Boulter (The Lucky Strikes) and James McArthur & the Head Gardeners. Samantha has a sublime vocal and with its acoustics St Pancras Old Church is a perfect venue for her music.

Swallow and the Wolf are a Suffolk boy and Australian girl playing songs of every day passions, extraordinary moments, and unsung heroes. Their sound is a rich mix of driven and picked acoustic guitar, mercurial piano, blended vocal harmonies and deep drums.

In the past year the duo has toured DIY across the UK and Germany, supported Simone Felice (The Felice Brothers), Nick Mulvey (key founder of The Portico Quartet), Rachel Sermanni, Gilmore and Roberts, Will and the People, Jake Morley and Phildel.

Their debut EP Sunrise Mountain was self released in 2012, followed by a single Every Time She Comes in early 2013. Their latest EP, Fire, was released in June 2014 to positive blog and radio support...
