Join Songdog for a special night at the beautiful St Pancras Old Church, a venue unlike any other. It's a working church with acoustics rarely found elsewhere and thought to have been around since before Norman times. It's also quite small, so advance booking is recommended - there are early bird tickets available at £8. The church has limited seating; if you prefer not to stand please ensure you arrive early as seats will be allocated on first-come, first-served basis. Please note under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, due to licensing laws. The show is expected to end around 10.30pm but may run slightly later. Venue curfew is 11.00pm.

Songdog is a vehicle for the songs of Lyndon Morgans (from Blackwood in South Wales) with accompaniment from Karl Woodward (guitar/banjo/mandolin), Dave Paterson (percussion/accordion), Jasper Salmon (violin) and Mal Phillips (bass). The songs form a heartfelt testimony to a life lived, bearing witness to the passing of time, to pain, to love and the loss of it, and to the consolations of memory. Yet, however bleak the vision, the spirit remains defiant in their elegant melodies and explicit lyricism.

Songdog's last album was the critically-acclaimed 'Last Orders at Harry's Bar'; earlier Songdog releases included 'A Life Eroding', 'A Wretched Sinner's Song' and 'The Time Of Summer Lightning'. The music has received praise from the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Robert Wyatt.

The next album 'Joy Street' has just been recorded with producer Nigel Stonier (producer of Fairport Convention, Joan Baez, Thea Gilmore) and is due out later this year.

Special guest Gabriel Moreno is a singer songwriter, performer and lyricist from Gibraltar with strong links to the London alternative Americana, folk and singer songwriter scene. Curator of the acclaimed Lantern Society. Influenced by the likes of Cohen, Callahan, Cave and other poetical singers, Moreno is known for endless streams of passion and compelling lyrics based on his literary creations. After years of performing in the underground London music scene Moreno was signed in 2014 by Amber Records for 2 albums, releasing his debut album "Love and Decadence" in October 2015. Moreno is also a published poet with 8 publications in both English and Spanish.
