Laura Kidd, AKA She Makes War, embarks on a tour for her new album Direction of Travel (which was mixed by Dan Austin (Doves, Pixies) and features guest appearances from Tanya Donelly and Mark Chadwick). The album combines an unabashed love of 90s alt-rock with the gothic undertones of Sisters Of Mercy and early Echo & The Bunnymen.
