Callaghan visits the Bubble Club as part of her second UK tour this year, having already played twice at the O2 in March as part of the C2C (Country To Country) festival. When she moved from London to Atlanta in 2010 she was following her dream – and one of her strongest musical influences; Shawn Mullins, whose offer to produce her first album was keenly accepted. Life In Full Colour was followed by five years and around 200,000 miles of touring the US and another album of mainly self-written material, A History Of Now, which has reinforced her appeal as an engaging and honest songwriter and performer who has charmed audiences and media alike. Radio 2 have playlisted many of Callaghan’s songs and Bob Harris has been a long-standing supporter.

Billboard magazine dedicated four pages to Callaghan, praising her strong vocals and do-it-yourself work ethic. The Huffington Post agreed, adding, “she’s one of those performers whose genuine sweetness is transparent in her voice, and it shines through her writing”.

Don’t miss this rare chance to catch her in a beautiful, unique venue, while she’s in our area!
