The fifth Martineau Gardens' Storytelling Festival returns for midsummer 2016, Saturday 25 June, 11am - 7pm
Look forward to a family-friendly day of storytelling, in the grounds of our beautiful community garden, presented by the Traditional Arts Team. There will be storytelling performances, storytrails, live music, dance, arts, stalls, and crafts for children, with delicious food available.
Where Stories, Plants and Wildlife Meet
An exciting programme of storytelling is taking place, under cover, in hidden corners of our two and half acre leafy garden. From woodland glades to the sundial lawn, there will be a continuous stream of storytelling performances during the day aimed at everyone from little children right up to adults. There will be stories with food, stories with walks, stories with pictures and a continuous Pop-Up storytelling canopy where you can listen to one story or stay all day.
Savings to be made on advance ticket purchase - on the gate (subject to availability), Adults £10; children's tickets remain at £2
* Children's Tickets: Children aged 16 years or under are £2, when accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied children aged 13 to 16 years old need to purchase a fullprice ticket. Children aged under 13 will not be admitted without an accompanying adult.
