Always on the lookout for something a bit different, Abfest 2016 are excited to bring to you Heron Valley. A lively, young ceilidh band from Argyll, who aren't afraid to put their own touch on the tradition Scottish tunes, on instruments such as keyboard, guitar, vocals, fiddle, accordion, pipes, whistles, drums - and any other musical instrument they can get their hands on! The band started off in 2011 and in 2014 they welcomed two new members to enrich their professional and diverse sound. Their traditional tunes and songs combined with lively rhythms and chords result in a very exciting atmosphere at Heron Valley's gigs. With their years of experience and enthusiasm for the music they play, Heron Valley can guarantee a brilliant night at any occasion!

We have also persuaded our local master of the strings, Colin Mackenzie, to bring back his band, Grass Routes with their ever expanding country classics and American Swing to start the evening off with a great big bang!

So help us bring the last night in the marquee to a thundering close with toe tapping, jigging and dancing till the sun goes down (and a bit after).
