Last of the summer ballroom dances at the intimate Tea House Theatre. Vintage records and dancing of the slow and Viennese waltz, quickstep, slow foxtrot, tango, rumba, jive plus some samba, cha cha and Charleston. Two half hour strict tempo vocal sets from operatic baritone Alistair Sutherland. Absolute beginners dance class in rumba from 7.30 pm to 8 pm. Main dance from 8pm to 11.30 pm. Four or five male and female taxi dancers available free of charge for all guests. Quickstep bus stop, full bar and snacks and home made cakes, ten minutes of tuition and one dance of the sequence dance 'rumba one', ten most glamorous looking female guests competition with a glass of bubbly as the prize, dress code strictly black tie and evening gowns only.
