Cultural historian, broadcaster and TV presenter, Dr Janina Ramirez examines the secret lives of the saints in Anglo-Saxon England, including Wantage's Saint Alfred the Great. By re-examining their lives, through the art and literature that inspired them, the landscape and buildings that surrounded them, the issues that concerned them and the symbolic world that mattered to them, Janina provides a fresh insight into Anglo- Saxon history.
Suitable for everyone aged 14+. Young people under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Event time: 2pm - approx 3pm
