Kick off the holiday season in style with loveable indie pop legends The Boy Least Likely To performing a full band seasonal set plus all the hits at one of London's most intimate venues.

Formed in 2004, the band released their seminal debut album, The Best Party Ever, in 2005 to widespread critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. They have since released three more albums, most recently The Great Perhaps in 2013.

The group is made up of singer/lyricist Jof Owen and Pete Hobbs. Owen writes the words and sings them; Hobbs writes the music and plays it. They met when they were still at school and grew up together in the small Buckinghamshire village of Wendover. They spent their teenage years scouring countryside car boot sales for rare Dexys seven inches and Lee Hazlewood albums. reading Ted Hughes, Anne Sexton and Smash Hits magazines, watching John Hughes films and old videos of Top Of The Pops. All the time putting together a collection of weird and wonderful instruments found in second hand shops, craft fairs and the Early Learning Centre.

Strongly influenced by the independent bands of the 1980s, the songs bring to mind the post punk playfulness of Altered Images, Aztec Camera, Dexys Midnight Runners and Orange Juice. A charming rural pop sound with banjos, glockenspiels, recorders and fiddles thumping away in a quirky indie folk style. The music is heartfelt and uplifting with unique and sweetly eccentric lyrics. They make disco music with a country heart. Sublime pop moments tinged with an english folk eccentricity. Sad songs that can't help but make you smile.

After taking a break from live shows, The Boy Least Likely To return for some wonderful music, laughter and possibly tears at this special Christmas show.
