Event information

Master of mayhem, prop lunatic Wes Zaharuk takes audience on a joy-ride of frenzy machine-gun anarchic physical comedy routines and maniac physical audience interaction.

He's a one-man tour de force, known to combine routines with power tools, bananas and film noir. You could call him plain daft, but his award-winning eccentric collection of eye-popping prop tricks have earned him a world-wide reputation for a tornado-like approach to comedy.

Wes is easily one of the most exciting acts on the comedy circuit. "Tommy Cooper on acid." Channel 4.

Winner of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, and Funny Women Comedy Award, Debra-Jane Appleby has appeared on the BBC's 28 Acts in 28 Minutes and on Comedy Central's The World Stands Up as well as regular appearances on BBC Radio 5 Live, and guesting on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour.

Debra-Jane performs up and down the country with her Northern no-nonsense take on the world, gaining accolades wherever she goes. "Has that magical spontaneous quality to her comedy..." Channel 4.

Jenny Collier has written for BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz, Huffington Post and Glamour Magazine and has travelled (parts of) the world with her comedy.

She has performed in Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland and most recently in Australia where she won the Percy Award for most tickets sold in 'The Imaginarium', (over 1900 tickets) during the Adelaide Fringe. ''Very likeable...Clearly a rising star'' - Bruce Dessau.

Ben Van der Velde is a stand-up comedian, actor, improviser and presenter, who, over the past few years, has spread joy and nonsense to all four corners of the British Isles, as well as Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Norway.“A sharp and crafty gagsmith.” Steve Bennett, Chortle
