Gauvrau's masterful shorts have been in the official selection of 45 festivals internationally. Originally from Poland, he works and lives in the UK.

Shearing Dir: Eicke Bettinga

Bettinga is a rising German director who graduated from the National Film and Television School in London. His work has been presented and awarded on the international film circuit including an official selection at the Festival Of Cannes and a Gold Plaque at the Chicago International Film Festival. The lambing, a CCTV camera, a red dress and a storm... It's all too much for Yvonne. The wife of a sheep farmer faces several challenges as a newcomer to a village.

Testudo Dir: Jörg Tittel
Starring: Alex Helfrecht

Tittel has directed and developed films and theatrical projects including the production 2+2+2 described by Time Out as Fiercely original, beautifully crafted, a rare ebullient treat. Testudo was premiered at this year's East End Film Festival. The film follows two estranged parents who take their daughter to the zoo, on a desperate mission to be a normal, loving family again. But when little May makes an unlikely friend, their trip will take an unexpected turn.

Romany Dir: Flemming Fynsk

This film by Danish Director Flemming Fynsk was commissioned by the French/German channel Arte and was broadcast in January 2008. The story follows British magician Romany in the lead up to one of her spectacular performances. The film portrays the realities behind the fantasies and smiles, and the emotional world of a woman who feels more alive in a world of make belief.
