SHAM BODIE 33: Birthday Spectacular
Can you believe we’re THREE YEARS OLD?! And like any self respecting 3 year old we’re celebrating with a really good comedy and music extravaganza and hot dogs. 3 year olds bloody love hot dogs. It’s all they eat. "So who’s putting the ‘vaganza’ in this extravaganza?” we hear you shout. Well pipe down pal. And ‘vaganza’ isn’t a word. We’ll tell you anyway though…
FOXDOG STUDIOS
Quite frankly the best and most original comedy act you will ever see live. Our headliners this month recently took Edinburgh by storm and last played Shammers in October of 2014 to an enraptured crowd. Make sure your smart phone is all charged up for interactive musical comedy amazingness.
SEAN MORLEY
One of our favourite performers, Morley is a law unto himself. Improvisational, smart and the opposite of any comic you’ve ever seen. Except he’s still well funny. Last time he was here he erected a ‘Berlin Wall’ within the audience. Hopefully he’ll tear it down this time…
BIRTHDAY BREAD MAN
Everyone loves birthdays. Everyone loves bread. Everyone loves Birthday Bread Man. Star of the internet and man with a huge loaf of bread on his head and insatiable hunger for good times we can’t wait for him to dole out birthday bread for all you lucky audience members.
SOPHIE GALPIN
Sham Bodie is about music just as much as it is about comedy and to evidence this we have Pins drummer (who played our first ever show back in 2013) Sophie Galpin who is now smashing it as a new stand up. There’s nowt she can’t do.
MATHEW GRAY AND THE AWFUL TRUTH
As is now customary Mathew Gray and the Awful Truth play our birthday show. It’s as traditional as cockles at Christmas time. Don’t worry about it. We bloody love em. You will too. Or already do. Good for you.
We’ll also have hot dogs and a bloody lovely time. You only turn three once. Come help us celebrate with a right good do.
