Jolie Holland and Samantha Parton, the two original founders of The Be Good Tanyas, have joined forces once again to create a new band. This is the first time in fifteen years that the two have led a group together. Holland and Parton will be presenting fresh arrangements of Be Good Tanyas material, as well as songs from their separate catalogs. Their new project, as always, is a page from the big book of North Americana and outsider folk. Holland cherry picked three of her sweetest, juiciest bandmates as supporting musicians for this project: Stevie Weinstein-Foner, Jared Samuel and Adam Brisbin.
