One of BBC 6 Music’s stalwart musical daddies is Gideon Coe, without doubt another quality filled ‘DJ Legend Series’ evening in the making.

Gideon's 9pm-midnight slot screams ‘Music Junky’, as his knowledge is unsurpassed. A Dr Who of musical time travel, with one foot in the murky past, the other dangling deliciously in the new – a show of discovery either way you turn!

As we like to do, we also deliver a tantalizing slice of NEW live music.

MANUELA – A London-based project comprises producer and Franz Ferdinand guitarist Nick McCarthy plus his wife, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Manuela Gernedel.

Their debut single ‘Cracks in the Concrete’ out now on Lost Map, is a joyous introduction to their addictive, eclectic, off-the-wall and instantly refreshing DIY pop sound. A perfect taster of their forthcoming debut album released in 2017.
