Fallopian Tunes is hosting a fundraiser for Abortion Rights Campaign (Ireland) on this Paddy's Day 2017. The Irish government are ignoring pleas by tens of thousands of women to repeal the 8th amendment in the constitution which makes having an abortion illegal. Taking a pill to self-abort will see women charged with murder and face a 14-year prison sentence. Ireland desperately needs a referendum on this issue - women are dying, women are being forced to give birth after rape, women are needlessly suffering in silence, women are being dictated to by a powerful, catholic pro-life lobby ie: men in Rome and the Irish State. The Abortion Rights Campaign stands in solidarity with the 3,500+ women who travel outside of Ireland, mostly to the UK, to access abortion every year. This Abortion Rights Campaign fundraiser aims to bring together people in Brighton and beyond to call for the Repeal of the 8th Amendment from the Irish constitution. All proceeds go to Abortion Rights Campaign (Ireland).
