A night of live music from Gazel + special guests.
Gazel's music is a dark blend of electronic, pop, and the middle-eastern folk music of her roots. Her music has been nominated in two categories for this year’s 15th International Independent Music Awards.
Gazel is a haunting live performer, music producer and violinist. She appears tonight with Roy Pfeffer (drums), Mao Yamada (bass) Sara de Santis (keys & electronics) and Lele Mancini-Olivos (percussion), with a backdrop of live projections and animations by illustrator Acid Lake. The band layers live electronics with strings and a variety of native middle-eastern instruments, creating deep atmospheres and dance vibrations.
