Event information
The all-female, folk and bluegrass band, The Shee, met on the Folk and Traditional Music Degree course at Newcastle University in 2006. Having reached the ten-year milestone in their action-packed career, they’re celebrating with a brand new body of original work. Following three albums and a hectic touring schedule over the past decade, the six members of the band each commissioned a Folk Music hero, to write an original piece of music for their fourth album 'Continuum'. This was premiered at their sell out concert at Celtic Connections 2016.
