Doors 8pm, I Ludicrous 8.45-9.45, The Shapes 10-11.
Leamington group The Shapes were formed in 1977 by Ben Browton (Seymour Bybuss) and Gareth Holder (AKA Brian Helicopter) plus Tim Jee, Dave Gee and Steve Richards. Their ‘Part of the Furniture’ EP and ‘Airline Disaster’ single became John Peel punk pop classics. After a spell on Terri Hooley’s Good Vibrations label they split, reforming in 2008. Latest single 'Don't Play Tennis' was a firm fave last year.

I Ludicrous gained notoriety when 'Preposterous Tales' reached no. 11 in the 1987 Festive 50. They've been gigging ever since, first as a duo & now with Martin Brett from Voice of The Beehive. Expect to hear songs from a brand new album and old faves.
