‘MY GENERATION’ features a wonderful line up of mini double bills and women musicians who grew up listening to music on vinyl and transistor radio… and decided that they also wanted to PLAY!
Inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell and Suzi Quatro, and with many self taught, they became the first wave of British women jazz musicians in the 1970s and 1980s.
Jazz and Latin classics with the amazing Hilary Cameron on soulful vocals and piano – surely one of the Jazz scene's most hidden talents – and the mellow trumpet playing of Barbara Snow (Jools Holland, Maxi Priest).
With Blow the Fuse hosts Deirdre Cartwright on guitar, Alison Rayner on double bass and Buster Birch on drums.
